Jerry schrijft hierover:

One of the primary things holding me back was the A/D and D/A converter attached to the speaker amplifier and microphone amplifier.

I was hoping to use the A/D and D/A converter on the C5000 chip. Because the spec is written in Chinese I had to depend on the manufacturer to tell me how to do it. It turns out both my manufacturer and the people who make the chip says I cannot use the on board Codec for general purpose applications.

The next approach is to use the DVSI vocoder attached to an external Codec as showed in their application notes. I have not been able to study the details but I was hoping someone in this group could tell me if I could use the DVSI AMBE 3000R to read the raw A/D data and write directly into the D/A converter without having to execute the AMBE algorithms.

The last approach is to have an external A/D/ and D/A converter attached directly to the microprocessor.

Any suggestions?
